Belbin - High Performing Teams
Belbin helps individuals, managers and teams understand themselves and each other - and how they can best work together.
Belbin Team Roles are used to identify behavioural strengths and weaknesses in the workplace. Whether developing people, resolving conflict or fine-tuning high performance, Belbin provides the language to ensure that individuals and teams communicate and work together with greater understanding.
Simply putting together a number of people and expecting them to work as a team is not enough.
Teams are a question of balance. What is needed is not well-balanced individuals, but individuals who balance one another.

Belbin Team Workshops
If you are experiencing problems with particular people or teams, then a Belbin workshop could be the answer.
You may need to gain clarity around objectives or ensure the project team understands what it needs to achieve. Perhaps there is some conflict in the team, or maybe there is a change management programme round the corner. Is hybrid working not quite working? Are team members feeling disengaged due to working from home?
Whatever your reasons, we can help you, and your team.
We look at the issues that are specific to your organization, and the people within it. Then, using the Belbin theory, we build a bespoke workshop specifically designed to address the issues that you are facing.
Using a Belbin facilitator ensures that everyone can participate and maximize their contribution. We facilitate sessions with teams at all levels, from boards of directors to new recruits.
Our workshops can be conducted online via the platform of your choice, or face to face.
How might a Belbin Workshop help you?
Workshops are designed to help teams increase their effectiveness and plan for the future.
The purpose of a team-building workshop is to increase communication and effectiveness within the team. The team will have a common language and a framework to discuss their collective strengths and how best to use them. We provide experiential learning that enables the team and its individual members to maximize strengths and contain weaknesses. This improves mutual understanding and enhances communication. It is important to identify each person's contribution and to consider the team’s profile against its short and long-term goals.
